Learn why a Meeting Prep step shows an error or a thin brief, and what to do.
Learn why a Meeting Prep step shows an error or a thin brief, and what to do.
Overview
A step set to Meeting Prep either returns a brief or shows one message about what went wrong. A brief can also come back but be about the wrong meeting or company, or leave out the meeting or the quotes. See How to run the Meeting Prep agent in an agent team in GTM One.
Fix a step that shows a message instead of a brief
- Open the agent team run, select the Meeting Prep step and read its output.
- Find the message under If you see an error below and follow its fix.
- Run the agent team again. A step that timed out often succeeds on a second run.
- If the same message repeats, contact ZoomInfo Support with the agent team name, the link to the run, the time of the run and the company the brief was for.
When a step fails, the team is told the step did not complete and not to invent a result. If the team continues, later steps treat the Meeting Prep step as unsuccessful.
Fix a brief that is wrong or thin
- Wrong company: In the step's Instructions, write the company's full name and run again. The agent takes the first company that matches the name.
- Wrong meeting: Put the meeting's exact subject in Instructions. The agent looks at your calendar for the next 30 days and matches by subject, so a recurring series with one title can match another occurrence.
- No meeting name or objective: Check that your calendar is connected. See Troubleshooting Meeting Prep Data in GTM One.
- No Recent Discussions or quotes: Quotes come from recordings of calls with the account in the last 30 days, and only from the account's side. Ask your ZoomInfo admin whether Chorus, Gong or Zoom recordings are connected for you. A brief for an account with no recent recorded calls has no quotes.
- No deals in the account summary: Deals come from your connected CRM. Check that your CRM is connected and that the account has open opportunities.
If you see an error
- "Unable to call Meeting Prep Agent - access token not found. Please ensure you are authenticated and try again." The run could not find your ZoomInfo sign-in. Sign out of GTM One, sign in again and run the team again.
- "The Meeting Prep Agent request timed out after 120 seconds." The brief took longer than two minutes. Run again, and narrow the instructions to one company and one meeting.
- "I was unable to call the Meeting Prep Agent due to the following error:" followed by details. The request failed before a brief was written. Run again in a few minutes, and contact ZoomInfo Support if it repeats.
