Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about GTM AI, the platform, and getting started.

About GTM AI

What is GTM AI?

GTM AI is the Context Graph for your GTM AI. It connects ZoomInfo company, contact, and buying signals with your CRM, conversations, and business context.

Context Agents research accounts, contacts, conversations, signals, and the web, grounded in what your business sells and who it targets. Use GTM Optimized Skills for repeatable jobs. The documentation covers MCP, CLI, and API access; Web Research is documented through audience AI columns.

How is this different from a traditional CRM or data provider?

GTM AI connects CRM account history with ZoomInfo company and contact data, buying signals, and available conversations. Context Agents use those connections to research a deal or answer a question about the account.

CRM stage and status are normalized and mapped from Conversation Intelligence. The linked conversation can explain an unresolved security objection, while external intelligence identifies a new reviewer. Both inform the next action.

Platform Components

How do the context graph and Context Agents work together?

The GTM AI Context Engine resolves company profiles, corporate hierarchy, current employment, and captured activities into a connected graph. Context Agents reason over those connections before your agent executes a task.

Account Research, Contact Research, and Conversation Intelligence cover your accounts, buyers, and interactions. The Signals agent brings buying intent, news, and business events into date order.

Business Context supplies your offerings, personas, ICPs, and competitors. Web Research adds current web information through audience AI columns.

Skills define repeatable GTM jobs. ZoomInfo data sets supply company, contact, and signal coverage behind the shared API. See the MCP tools reference for the supported MCP tools.

What is the Context Graph?

The context graph connects company and contact identities with buying signals and your connected CRM and conversations. Context Agents use those connections.

For example, a proposal-stage opportunity may have an unresolved security objection from the last call. A new security leader changes who should join the review. Connecting the history and the new stakeholder changes the recommended next step.

CRM and conversation history require sources connected to your ZoomInfo tenant. See Account Research for requirements.

Company profiles, corporate hierarchy, current employment, and captured activities keep the records connected. CRM stage and status are normalized and mapped from Conversation Intelligence.

Integration & Access

How do I integrate with my existing tools?

GTM AI is accessible through MCP (Model Context Protocol), REST APIs, and native integrations with tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Salesforce, and more. The MCP server lets any AI agent query the Context Graph directly. See the MCP docs.

What is the Marketplace?

The Marketplace offers pre-built data sets, audiences, and AI agents that you can use out of the box. Data sets give you access to specialized data (franchise owners, fleet data, UCC filings, and more). Audiences are pre-defined targeting segments ready for outreach. Browse the Marketplace.
