Overview
On an opportunity profile, Next best actions focuses on that deal rather than on the account in general. It reads the opportunity, the account's deal health and the account's ranked stakeholders, and recommends what to do next with a named person. It does not send anything and does not change your CRM.
Before you start
- The team is on the opportunity profile. The Next best actions team is offered on opportunity profiles when your admin placed it on the profile layout. If the agent teams menu or the GTM Agents card is missing, ask your ZoomInfo admin.
- Permission and credits. Starting a run needs permission to run agent teams and enough AI credits. Whether you can run it depends on your role; ask your ZoomInfo admin.
- Your CRM is connected and the opportunity is synced. The report reads the opportunity from your CRM data. An opportunity that cannot be matched to a company gives a LOW confidence report. See Troubleshooting Next best actions in GTM One.
Run Next best actions on an opportunity
- Open the opportunity profile.
- Click the agent teams button in the profile header, or find the Next best actions tile in the GTM Agents card.
- Click Next best actions. The run starts and its status appears on the button or tile.
- When the run completes, click Open results.
- Read the report. It focuses on the deal: stage, amount, close date, forecast category, days since activity, days in stage and momentum; blockers such as procurement, security, legal, budget, a missing champion or a missing economic buyer; and how recent engagement has changed. See How to read a Next best actions report in GTM One.
- In each action card, read the primary contact and any secondary contacts. Every recommended contact shows Email, Direct Phone and Mobile Phone as separate labels.
What to expect
- Contacts come from the account's stakeholders. The report takes up to one primary and three secondary contacts, ranked by recent engagement over the last 90 days. It does not search ZoomInfo for new people on an opportunity.
- Missing channels are labelled. A field with no value reads "Not available in source". Open the person's profile to look for details, since your access and credits decide what you can see.
- Meeting and email evidence is added only when needed, for example to support a blocker, a missing stakeholder, or a pricing, security, procurement or renewal concern.
- A run uses AI credits as any agent team run does.
If you see an error
- "Analysis confidence: LOW" with no actions. The opportunity could not be matched to an account, or too much data was missing. Check that the opportunity belongs to an account in your CRM and that the sync is current, then run the team again.
