How to Review a Preview Run of an Agent Team in GTM One

Overview

When an agent team runs across an audience or a CSV, you can run the first record on its own before you run every record. The preview opens a page titled Run first record preview, where you can check what each step of the agent team produced for that single record. If the output looks right, you can then run all records.

A preview is a live run. Every action in the agent team runs for real on that one record: emails are sent, tasks are created and CRM records are updated, just as they are in a full run. The preview also uses AI action credits for the record it runs.

Before you start

  • Whether you can run an agent team depends on your role. If the run controls are unavailable and show "You do not have permission to take this action", ask your ZoomInfo admin.
  • Check the agent team's actions before you preview it. If a step sends an email or writes to your CRM, the preview does that for the first record.

Run the first record as a preview

  1. Open the agent team you want to run and click Run.
  2. In the Data source (optional) step, select Audience or CSV, choose the records to use, and click Next.
  3. If the Run as step appears, select Run as Me or Run as Others, then click Next. With Run as Others, each user you select gets their own preview run, using their own data access and credits.
  4. In the Review & Run step, check the selected source and the estimated credit cost. If no estimate can be made, the dialog says "We can't estimate the cost of this run. It will still use AI action credits."
  5. Click Run first record to run only the first record as a preview. The run stops after that one record.

If you click Run all records without previewing first, GTM One asks "Run full dataset?". Click No, run first record to preview, or Yes, run full dataset to skip the preview.

Review the preview output

  1. On the Run first record preview page, review the output shown for each step of the agent team.
  2. For a condition routing step, check which path was taken. The step shows the condition that matched (e.g., Condition 1 followed by the condition), or Default path taken - no conditions met when no condition matched.
  3. For a For Each step, review each item, which is listed with a number (e.g., #1) followed by the item name when one is available.
  4. When the preview looks right, click Run all records. This starts a full run on every record you chose, and every action in the team runs for real on each of them.

Things to know

  • A step that produced nothing shows No output available.
  • If the agent team's monthly credit budget has been reached, the run shows Credit budget reached. Update the limit in Settings to run it again.
  • If your organization does not have enough AI action credits, the run shows Not enough credits.
