Troubleshooting Agent Team Templates in GTM One
Learn how to resolve common issues when creating an agent team from a template.
Learn how to resolve common issues when creating an agent team from a template.
Overview
When you create an agent team from a template, GTM One copies the template's steps, run inputs and triggers into a new agent team and opens it in the builder. The new agent team is named after the template. You can then review the copy, fill in any template variables and save it as your own agent team.
The sections below cover the states you may see while the builder sets up a copy of a template.
The builder keeps loading after you choose a template
While the builder fetches and sets up a template copy, it shows a loading view that names the wait instead of an empty page. The builder opens once the template, its triggers, the tools and the prompts it needs have loaded.
- Wait for the loading view to finish before you edit the agent team.
The builder shows a loading error
The builder needs several resources before it can open a template copy, including agents, system prompts, tools, skills, step templates and triggers. If any of them fails to load, the builder shows an error with an option to try again.
- Use the retry option shown in the builder to reload the resources.
- If the error remains after you retry, contact ZoomInfo support.
The inputs tab shows a loading placeholder
A template copy keeps the run inputs that were copied from the template. Until those inputs are known, the inputs tab stays behind a loading placeholder. This happens while the request is in progress and also when it has failed, so that an empty row is never saved over the inputs copied from the template.
- Wait for the run inputs to load before you edit them, and refresh the page if the placeholder does not clear.
Filling in template variables
Some templates include variables, which are values you provide so the template fits your use case. When a template has variables, the builder opens a dialog titled with the agent team's name where you enter a value for each one. The dialog only opens when the template has at least one variable. Variables can only be changed where the agent team is editable, so a read-only view does not let you change them.
- Open the agent team you created from the template in the builder.
- In the template variables dialog, enter a value for each variable.
- Click the submit button at the bottom of the dialog to apply the values, or cancel to close the dialog without applying them.
