Overview

Find accounts by what just happened to them. Search Scoops queries ZoomInfo's database of curated business events, so you can pull every company that hired a new CRO last quarter, announced a project, or went through a round of layoffs. Each record is a discrete, dated event with a source behind it, researched by people rather than inferred from behavior. That makes it the starting point for trigger-based outbound.

What You'll Get

A list of companies matching the event you described. Each result carries:

  • Company name and basic profile
  • The scoop itself, with event type and description
  • Publication date
  • Department, where the event is department-specific

Best For

  • Trigger-based and event-driven prospecting
  • Reaching a new executive during their first 90 days
  • Timing outreach to a funding round or expansion
  • Finding accounts with a stated pain point you solve

Already know the account and want its recent events? Use Enrich Company Signals. To find companies by research behavior rather than a confirmed event, use Search Intent.

How It Works

ZoomInfo Data

Scoops are curated by ZoomInfo's research team, and cover events including:

  • Leadership changes
  • Funding rounds
  • Layoffs
  • Product launches
  • Stated pain points
  • Projects and expansions

Narrow the search by scoop type, topic, department, publication date, and the standard company filters.

Credits

Free. Search Scoops consumes no bulk data credits. Each scoop returned does count toward your record and request limits. See Credits & Billing.

Automatic Tool Selection

The AI reaches for Search Scoops when you describe an event rather than a company profile. It may chain into Search Contacts to find the right person at each account, or into Enrich Company Signals for a fuller view of one company.
