Browse Audiences
List and search your GTM Studio audiences by name, type, or creator. Read-only and free.
Overview
Find the GTM Studio audience you want to work with. Browse Audiences lists everything you have access to, with enough detail to tell them apart, and lets you filter by name, type, or who built it. It costs nothing, so the AI can look around freely before doing anything that spends credits. This is almost always the first step when working with an audience you already have.
What You'll Get
A paginated list of audiences, up to 25 per page. Each entry carries:
- Audience
id, used by Get Audience - Audience name
- Record type, either CONTACT or COMPANY
- Record count
- Creator and last-updated metadata
Best For
- Seeing which audiences exist before you build another one
- Locating an audience you remember by name
- Checking how large an audience is
- Getting the
idthat every downstream audience step needs
To inspect one audience's columns and rows, pass its id to Get Audience.
How It Works
GTM Studio
Filter the list by:
- A case-insensitive search on the audience name
- Record type
- Creator name

Requirements
You see the audiences your GTM Studio access covers. Results are paginated at up to 25 per page.
Automatic Tool Selection
The AI reaches for Browse Audiences when you ask what audiences exist, or when you name one. This is the discovery step: the model lists or searches, picks up the right id, then chains into Get Audience to inspect structure and data.
Example Prompts
"What audiences do I have in GTM Studio?"
"Find my audience from Dreamforce."
"List company audiences created by Dana."
"How many records are in my SaaStr list?"
Reading vs. building
Browse Audiences and Get Audience read existing audiences. To create and enrich audiences programmatically, see the GTM Studio Audiences API guide.
