Learn how to ask chat to review how a recorded sales meeting went and what to do differently.

Overview

Chat on a recording can review the meeting itself: how thorough the discovery and qualification were, the balance of talking and listening, the questions asked, missed chances to handle an objection and moments worth repeating. It frames feedback as things to learn from, cites examples from the conversation and keeps it to what is observable in the meeting, not personality. It can also map who engaged and who might be a champion.

Chat reviews only the meeting you have open. It does not compare it with your other calls.

Before you start

  • Open the recording from Meetings, then Recordings. If you cannot open it, ask the meeting's owner or your ZoomInfo admin for access.
  • Chat answers can use AI action credits when your organization is charged for them.
  • Feedback is advice for you. Chat changes nothing in the recording, in your CRM or in anyone's record.

Ask for feedback

  1. Open the recording and click Ask AI in the action bar above it. Chat opens with the heading "Ask about this meeting".
  2. Ask what you want reviewed, for example "How was my discovery in this call?", "Who talked the most, and was that the right balance?" or "Where did I miss a chance to handle an objection?"
  3. Read the answer. It names specific moments and gives concrete recommendations. Where it gives a time, click it to move the recording there.
  4. Ask a follow-up to go deeper, such as "What should I ask next time about budget?" The answer is shorter and uses the same meeting.

Ask about the buyers

  1. In the same chat, ask "Who seemed like a champion in this meeting?" or "Map the buying committee from this call."
  2. Read the answer. Chat can attach a buyer engagement map or a table. Open any attachment shown.
