Overview
Action items are the commitments captured from your recorded conversations. They are one of the outputs of a meeting, along with the summary, transcript, and moments. You can see the action items for a single call on the Overview tab of its meeting page in Meetings.
The Action Items page brings the action items from all of your meetings and engagements together in one list, grouped by the meeting they came from. Each meeting appears as a card. On the page, you can:
- See every commitment from your calls in one place
- Narrow the list by status, owner, or account
- Mark items completed as you finish them
- Jump back to the point in the recording where a commitment was made
The Action Items page is not in the left navigation panel. You open it with its page address.
Open the Action Items Page
- In your browser, go to your GTM One address followed by #/action-items (e.g., gtm.zoominfo.com/#/action-items).
Under the page title, two counts show Total Items and Engagements. Both count only what has loaded so far, so they go up as you scroll. More meetings load automatically when you scroll to the bottom of the list.
View the Action Items From a Meeting
- Click the header of a meeting card to expand it.
- Click the text of an action item to open that meeting in a new tab.
The card header shows the meeting name, how many action items it has, the account, and how many items are completed out of the total, with a progress bar.
Inside an expanded card, pending items are listed first. Completed items follow a Completed divider, and appear dimmed and struck through. Each item shows who it belongs to and the date it was captured.
You can also open a meeting in other ways:
- Click the meeting name in the card header to open the meeting page.
- Click the timestamp beside an item to open the recording in a new tab at the moment the commitment was made. The timestamp appears only on items that have one.
Search Action Items
- In the Search action items... box at the top of the page, type a word or phrase from the item.
While your search has matches, a line under the box shows how many of the loaded action items match (e.g., Showing 4 of 20 action items). The search checks only the items that have loaded so far. To remove the search, click the clear button in the search box.
Filter by Status
- Click the status filter, which shows All Status by default.
- Select Pending or Completed.
The list reloads to show only items in that state. To show all items again, select All Status.
Filter by Owner
- Click the All Owners filter.
- Select a person, or select Unassigned to see items with no owner.
The list of people is built from the action items that have loaded so far. To show everyone's items again, select All Owners.
Filter by Account
- Click in the Account name box.
- Type at least three characters of the account name.
- In the panel under the box, click Apply, or press Enter.
To remove the account filter, click in the Account name box, and then click Clear All in the panel under it.
Remove a Filter
Each status, owner, or account filter you apply appears as a chip below the filters (e.g., Status: Pending, Owner: Jane Smith, or Account: Acme).
- Click the x on the chip for the filter you want to remove.
Mark an Action Item Completed
- Click the header of the meeting card to expand it.
- Select the checkbox beside the action item.
The item moves below the Completed divider, and the change is saved automatically. To set an item back to pending, clear its checkbox. If the change cannot be saved, the checkbox returns to its previous state, so try again.
If You Do Not See Your Action Items
- No action items found: There are no action items yet. Action items from your meetings appear here once they are captured.
- No results found: Your search or filters do not match any items. Adjust your search or filters, or click Clear search to remove the search.
- Failed to load action items. Please try again.: The page could not load. Click Try again.
- Failed to load more action items.: The next set of meetings could not load. The meetings already on the page stay in place. Click Try again under them.
If the problem continues, contact your ZoomInfo admin or account team.
