Overview
GTM One brings ZoomInfo's most used applications into one workspace, all running on the same data. Home is the starting point. From Home you can ask chat a question, see your meetings for today and tomorrow, and open apps or agents that are available to you.
The sections below explain how to:
- Sign in to GTM One
- Expand the left navigation panel
- Find your way around Home
- Try three first tasks: ask a question in chat, open the Feed, and run an advanced search
For a tour of every area in GTM One, see Overview of GTM One.
Sign In to GTM One
Your account must have access to GTM One before you can sign in. If you see a message that access is not yet open, contact your ZoomInfo admin.
- In your browser, go to gtm.zoominfo.com, or open the ZoomInfo application selector and choose GTM One.
- Sign in with your company's single sign-on credentials.
If your first sign-in does not work as expected, check whether you are signed in to another ZoomInfo account in a separate browser tab. That can cause a session conflict on first login. If you still cannot sign in, contact your ZoomInfo admin.
Expand the Left Navigation Panel
The left navigation panel can be collapsed to icons only or expanded to show labels. GTM One remembers your choice between sessions.
- At the top of the left navigation panel, click the GTM One logo (Open Sidebar) to expand the panel.
- To collapse the panel again, click Close Sidebar next to the logo.
When the panel is expanded, clicking the logo takes you to Home. You can reorder the panel, add sections, and pin items to it from Settings. For details, see Overview of Settings in GTM One.
Find Your Way Around Home
To open Home at any time, click Home in the left navigation panel. The page greets you with "How do you want to GTM today," followed by your first name. Below the greeting is the ask box, and below that is a row of two cards: Your calendar on the left and one more card on the right. When your organization has custom insights turned on, a third row called On your radar appears under the cards.
The Ask Box
The ask box is where you start a chat. Your cursor is already in it when Home opens, so you can start typing without clicking. Chat on Home can draw on ZoomInfo data and your connected systems, so you can ask about many accounts at once.
- Type @ followed by at least three letters of a company or contact name, then pick the match from the list to ask about that record. The name stays in your question as a chip. You can also click the @ button beside the box (Mention a company or contact).
- Type / or click the / button beside the box (Open the shortcut menu) to pick a saved shortcut. Both buttons work only while the box is empty.
- Click My day, Meetings, or Research under the box to start from a suggested prompt instead of writing your own.
- Click the paperclip to attach a file to your question. It appears only when file attachments are turned on for your account.
Your Calendar
The Your calendar card lists your meetings for today and tomorrow, grouped under Today and Tomorrow with a meeting count beside each heading.
- A meeting in progress is highlighted and labeled Now.
- A meeting with someone outside your company shows an External chip.
- The External only switch in the card header starts on each time you open Home, so only meetings with outside attendees are listed. Turn it off to include internal meetings. The switch also controls which meetings the Meetings prompts in the ask box offer you.
- Where recording can be changed for a meeting, a recording toggle appears when you point to its row.
- Click Go to meetings in the card header to open the full Meetings page.
How to Connect Your Calendar
If no calendar is connected, the card shows a prompt to connect one instead of a meeting list. Access is read-only, and nothing is written to your calendar.
- On the Your calendar card, click Connect calendar.
- In the Connect Calendar dialog, click Connect next to Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar.
- Finish signing in to your calendar account in the window that opens.
How to Prep for an Upcoming Meeting
The Prep button appears on meetings that have not ended yet and include someone from outside your company.
- On the Your calendar card, point to the meeting row.
- Click Prep.
A chat opens with a meeting prep request for that meeting.
The Card Beside Your Calendar
The card to the right of Your calendar changes depending on what is available to you. It shows one of the following:
- Apps: Appears when apps have been shared with you. It lists the most recently updated apps. Click an app to open it, or click View all to open the Apps gallery.
- Agent Teams: Appears when Agent Teams is available on your account. Click Account agents or Contact agents to open the Run an agent dialog. Once you have runs, click Run agent in the card header to start another. Runs are grouped under Working, Finished today, and Needs attention. Click Show more to see runs that do not fit in the card. If you do not have permission to run agent teams, these controls are unavailable.
- Recent chats: Appears when neither of the other cards applies. It lists your latest conversations (up to four). Click a conversation to pick it back up, or click Go to chats in the card header to open the full list of chats. When you have no chats yet, the card reads "Your chats land here."
On Your Radar
On your radar holds custom insights: questions you save once and GTM One answers again every day ("Custom insights about your accounts, refreshed every day"). It appears only when your organization has it turned on. You can keep up to six insights.
- On Home, scroll to the On your radar row.
- Click Add custom insight. If the row is empty, click Write your own instead, or pick one of the starter examples.
- In the Question box of the New insight card, type what you want checked each day, and choose what the insight is about.
- Click Add.
Each card also lets you edit, rename, move or remove the insight, and continue from its answer in chat. Removing an insight shows a message with Undo. When you have six insights, the row says "You've reached 6 insights. Remove one to add another."
Tips for Using Home
- Clicking Home in the left navigation panel while a chat is open closes the conversation and brings back the Home page.
- While a list of suggested prompts or a part-written question is on screen, the cards below the ask box dim and cannot be clicked. Click anywhere outside the ask box to bring them back.
