Overview
When the help article that answers your question has a guided walkthrough, Help puts a card titled Show me how under its reply. The card carries the title of the article. Opening it starts the walkthrough: the page dims around one element at a time, with a small card that has Exit, Back and Next buttons and a count such as "1 of 2".
Before you start
- The Help chat is turned on for your organization. See How to ask Help how to do something in GTM One.
- Guided walkthroughs are turned on for your organization. This is a separate setting. When it is off, opening a Show me how card takes you to Home and no walkthrough starts. Ask your ZoomInfo admin if that happens.
- Not every answer has a card. A card appears only for a how-to question whose article has a walkthrough, and at most one card appears per search.
Steps
- Open your user menu, click Help and support, and ask how to do the task, for example "how do I create an audience?".
- Read the answer. If a Show me how card appears under it, click it.
- Follow the highlighted element on each page. Click Next to continue, Back to return, or Exit to stop. On the last step the button reads Done.
- If a small card in the corner tells you to go to a page, such as "Go to Audiences to continue.", open that page. The walkthrough continues once the element it needs is on screen.
Good to know
- Opening a card always starts the walkthrough again from its first step, even if you finished it before.
- The written steps in the answer and the walkthrough cover the same task; use whichever suits you.
If you see an error
- You land on Home and nothing is highlighted. Guided walkthroughs are not turned on for your organization, or the walkthrough no longer exists. Follow the written steps in the answer, or ask your ZoomInfo admin.
