How to choose a slideshow template in Chat in GTM One

Overview

When you ask Chat for a slide deck, it can show a Select slideshow template card in the conversation. The card says "Choose your default template or upload a new one." and lists the templates you can use. The template you choose becomes your default for later decks.

Before you start

  • You need a PowerPoint file to upload a new template. Only .pptx files are accepted. A file must be valid and smaller than 75 MB.
  • Choosing a template sends a message for you. Confirming or uploading sends "Template selected, please create slideshow now" in your name, and Chat starts building the deck. That work may use credits. See How to see how many credits a Chat reply used in GTM One.

Steps

Use a template you already have

  1. On the Select slideshow template card, wait for Loading templates... to finish.
  2. Select a template. Your uploaded templates show their file name and the date uploaded. ZoomInfo Default Template is always listed and is marked "System generated". Your current default is already selected.
  3. Click Confirm. If you picked a different template, it becomes your default, and Chat then builds the deck with it.

Upload a new template

  1. On the card, click Upload new template.
  2. Choose a .pptx file. The button shows Validating... and then Uploading... while the file is checked and stored.
  3. If the card warns "We can't recreate these elements:", read the slide numbers and elements it lists. Chat builds the rest of the deck without those slides.
  4. When the upload succeeds, the card says Uploaded followed by the file name. The new template becomes your default and Chat starts building the deck straight away, without waiting for Confirm.

Remove a template you no longer want

  1. Click the x at the right of its row.
  2. If it was your default, your default returns to ZoomInfo Default Template.

Skip the choice

Click Cancel. Chat is told you cancelled, the card changes to "Template selection cancelled. Please continue in the chat below.", and you can carry on typing in the chat.

What happens next
