Overview
The first time an admin signs in to the Admin Portal, a Data Sharing Validation window can open over the page. It says ZoomInfo is expanding the types of data transmitted through its products, subject to the ZoomInfo Privacy Policy, and lists the additional types of data that may now be collected:
- Device and browser information, such as Mobile Ad ID, device and browser ID, and device and browser details.
- Identifiers such as first- and third-party cookies and IP addresses.
- Hashed and unhashed email addresses.
The window explains that this information is used to improve visitor and company identification across ZoomInfo's products. Only admins see it.
Respond to the window
- Read the Data Sharing Validation window.
- To accept, click Acknowledge. To decline, click Cancel.
Acknowledge turns on your organization's web visitor IP and domain analysis preference in the Privacy Center. Cancel turns it off. Either way the window closes and does not open again in that browser, unless the browser's saved choice is cleared. If it does open again, you can answer differently.
Change your choice later
- In the window's text, click Data Sharing Preferences, or open the Data Sharing page from the Admin Portal's left navigation.
- Follow How to Manage Data Sharing Settings as an Admin to change what your organization shares.
