Learn why a banner or a top bar control shows, or does not show, in the Admin Portal.
Overview
The Admin Portal shows some banners and top bar controls only to certain users or only when a setting is on. A control that is missing for you, or a banner that you do not expect, usually follows one of the rules below.
Check why a control or banner differs
- Open the Admin Portal and look at the top bar and the top of the page.
- Find the control or banner in the list below.
- Follow the step for it, or ask an admin in your organization to do so.
The onboarding menu is not in the top bar
The onboarding menu is shown to admins only. Ask an admin in your organization to check that your account is an admin account in User Management.
The credits button is not in the top bar
The credits usage button appears for users who have the Builder experience. Ask an admin to check your permissions in User Management, or contact your ZoomInfo account team.
A buy credits banner appears or disappears
The buy credits banner is shown to admins and appears at the top of the page when ZoomInfo decides it applies to your organization. Click its close button to hide it. You cannot turn it back on yourself.
The single sign-on banner shows even though SSO is set up
The single sign-on onboarding banner is shown to admins, while single sign-on is not active for the organization, and only when ZoomInfo has turned the banner on. It also shows when the Admin Portal cannot read the single sign-on status, so it can appear on a page load even though single sign-on is active.
- Reload the page and check whether the banner is still there.
- Open Single sign-on under User Management and confirm that single sign-on is active.
- If it is active and the banner still shows after a reload, contact your ZoomInfo account team.
A logged in as banner is at the bottom of the page
The logged in as banner appears when someone is signed in to the Admin Portal as another user. If you did not expect it, sign out and sign in again with your own account.
