Troubleshooting Access to the Admin Portal and Its Pages

Learn why the Admin Portal sends you elsewhere or does not open a page.
Overview
The Admin Portal checks your account when it opens and checks your permissions again on every page. Depending on what it finds, it can send you to the ZoomInfo sign-in page, to GTM Studio, to a permissions error page, or to Overview. Use the sections below to match what you see to a cause.
Work out what happened
- Note where you landed: the ZoomInfo sign-in page, GTM Studio, a permissions error page, or the Admin Portal Overview page.
- Find the matching section below and follow its steps.
- If the steps do not help, contact your ZoomInfo account team and tell them which page you tried to open and where you ended up.
You land on the ZoomInfo sign-in page
The Admin Portal sends you to sign in when your account does not hold Admin Portal access, or when it cannot find any product access for your account.
- Sign in again with the account that your organization uses for the Admin Portal.
- If you land on the sign-in page again, ask another admin in your organization to confirm that your account has Admin Portal access in User Management.
- If no one in your organization can change it, contact your ZoomInfo account team.
You land in GTM Studio
An account that has GTM Studio access can be sent to GTM Studio when it opens the Admin Portal address.
- Use the products menu in GTM Studio or GTM One to open Admin Portal instead of using a saved address.
- If Admin Portal is not in the products menu, your account does not have Admin Portal access. Ask an admin in your organization to review your access.
You see a permissions error page
Each Admin Portal area needs its own permission. For example, User Management needs the user management permission and Privacy & Security needs the privacy and security permission. When your account lacks the permission for the page you opened, the Admin Portal shows a permissions error page instead of the page.
- Ask an admin in your organization to open User Management and check the role assigned to your account.
- Ask them to add the permission for the area you need, or to assign a role that includes it.
- Sign out, sign in again and open the page.
The Billing and Web Store pages need the commerce permission, and Billing also needs the billing portal link permission. The Integrations pages need the admin integrations permission, and API and webhooks also need API access.
You land on Overview instead of the page you wanted
The Admin Portal opens Overview when an address does not match a page, and when the page you asked for is not turned on for your organization (for example, a newer page that ZoomInfo has not enabled for you yet).
- Check the address for typing mistakes, or find the page from the left navigation.
- If you used a bookmark, the page may have moved. Open it from the left navigation instead, then update your bookmark.
- If the page is not in the left navigation, contact your ZoomInfo account team to ask whether it is part of your plan.
