Overview

A Workspace is a saved layout of the left navigation. As an admin you can build one, copy an existing one, and remove ones you no longer need. The Workspaces page lists every Workspace in your organization and the ZoomInfo default, with the most recently edited first.

This page is available when your organization has it turned on, and only to admins. If you do not see Workspaces in Settings, ask your ZoomInfo contact whether it is turned on for your organization.

To arrange your own navigation, see How to manage your workspace in GTM One.

Before you begin

  • You need an admin role in GTM One. Other users cannot open the Workspaces page.
  • A Workspace name can be up to 120 characters.
  • The ZoomInfo default is always listed. You can duplicate it, but you cannot delete it, and only ZoomInfo can change it.

Open the Workspaces page

  1. In the lower-left corner of the left navigation panel, click your name or profile initial.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click Workspaces.

The page shows each Workspace by name with the number of items it holds and when it was last edited. The ZoomInfo default carries a ZoomInfo default label. To find one, type in Search Workspaces.

Create a Workspace

  1. On the Workspaces page, click New Workspace.
  2. Choose where to start:
    • My own Workspace copies the navigation you already built for yourself. The copy is named "My Workspace copy".
    • Under Or duplicate a Workspace, pick an existing Workspace to copy.
  3. Edit the new Workspace in the editor, and rename it.

Use Back to Workspaces in the editor to return to the list.

Duplicate a Workspace

  1. On the Workspaces page, find the Workspace in the list.
  2. Click More actions at the end of its row.
  3. Click Duplicate.

The copy appears in the list with " copy" added to the name. If the name would be longer than 120 characters, the original name is shortened to make room.

Delete a Workspace

  1. On the Workspaces page, find the Workspace in the list.
  2. Click More actions at the end of its row.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. In the Delete this Workspace? window, click Delete.

The Workspace is removed for everyone it is assigned to, and this cannot be undone. People keep the changes they made to their own navigation. You cannot delete the ZoomInfo default.

If you see an error

  • Unable to load Workspaces. The list did not load. Reload the page. If it keeps appearing, confirm you are signed in as an admin and contact support.
  • No Workspaces yet. Your organization has not created one. Click New Workspace to create one.
  • No Workspaces match that. Your search matched nothing. Try a different search.
  • A message that the ZoomInfo default cannot be deleted or changed. The default is managed by ZoomInfo. Duplicate it and edit the copy instead.
  • A message that the name must not be empty or must be at most 120 characters. Enter a name between 1 and 120 characters and save again.

If a problem continues, contact ZoomInfo support with the Workspace name and the time of the error.
