Overview
A new audience is private, so only the person who created it can see it. You can share it with specific people in your ZoomInfo organization, with everyone in your organization, or both. Recipients must be ZoomInfo users.
When you share an audience, you choose an access level for each person:
- Viewer: Can open and view the audience but can't change it.
- Editor: Can work on the audience with you, including editing its entries.
The person who created the audience is listed as Owner. Shared audiences appear on the recipient's Audiences page, under the Shared with me quick filter.
Share an Audience with Specific People
- In the left navigation panel, click Audiences.
- Click the audience you want to share to open it.
- Click Share in the top-right corner of the page.
- In the Add people by name or email box, type the person's name or email address.
- Select the person from the results.
- To change what the person can do, click the access level beside their name under People with access.
- Select Viewer or Editor.
- Click Share in the bottom-right corner of the dialog.
Each person you add starts as a Viewer. You can add more than one person before you click Share. The Share button stays unavailable until you make a change. When sharing finishes, a message confirms that the audience has been shared.

Share an Audience with Everyone in Your Organization
- Open the audience you want to share.
- Click Share in the top-right corner of the page.
- Under General access, select Everyone in org.
- Click the access level button beside Everyone in org.
- Select Viewer or Editor.
- Click Share in the bottom-right corner of the dialog.
Organization access starts as Viewer. People in your organization must sign in to ZoomInfo to open the audience.
Change or Remove Someone's Access
- Open the audience.
- Click Share in the top-right corner of the page.
- Under People with access, click the access level beside the person's name.
- Select Viewer, Editor, or Remove access.
- Click Share in the bottom-right corner of the dialog.
To stop sharing with your whole organization, select Private under General access, and then click Share. People listed under People with access keep their access.
Copy a Link to an Audience
- Open the audience.
- Click Share in the top-right corner of the page.
- Click the Copy link button in the bottom-left corner of the dialog.
You can paste the link into a message or email. Anyone who opens the link still needs access to the audience, so share it with them first.
Find an Audience Shared with You
- In the left navigation panel, click Audiences.
- Click the Shared with me quick filter above the list of audiences.
Review Requests for Access to Your Audience
When your organization has audience sharing requests turned on, the owner of an audience sees a small arrow beside Share. A dot on the arrow means requests are waiting.
- Open an audience you own.
- Click the arrow beside Share in the top-right corner of the page (More options for Share).
- Click Access Requests to review and decide the requests, or click Sharing & access to open the Share dialog.
Things to Know Before You Share
- Audiences that are still processing: You can't share an audience until it finishes processing. Until then, the Share button is unavailable and shows "Please wait for the audience to finish processing before sharing or activating."
- Audiences shared with you as a Viewer: The Share button is unavailable and shows "Not available in view-only mode." Ask the owner if you need Editor access.
- Overwritten entries: Anyone with Editor access can change any entry in the audience, including entries another person made. Audiences don't have change tracking or version history, so earlier values can't be restored. Give Viewer access to anyone who only needs to see the audience.
