Learn how GTM One uses your CRM connection and how to connect a CRM.

Overview

GTM One uses the same CRM connection as Copilot. If your organization already connected a CRM (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) in Copilot, that connection carries over to GTM One with no extra work, along with any other integrations already connected in Copilot.

You can see your integrations on the Integrations page in Settings. Depending on how your organization is set up, you either connect a CRM yourself from that page, or your ZoomInfo admin manages the connection for your team.

Before You Start

  • Check whether your CRM is already connected. If it is, you don't need to do anything.
  • Some CRM connections are set up for your whole team by your admin. These appear under Managed by your admin, and you can't connect or change them yourself.
  • Have your CRM sign-in details ready if you plan to connect the CRM yourself.

How to Connect Your CRM from Settings

  1. In the lower-left corner of the left navigation panel, click your name or profile initial.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. In the Settings navigation, click Integrations.
  4. In the Your integrations section, find the card for your CRM. To find it faster, type the CRM name in the Search integrations box at the top of the page.
  5. On the CRM's card, click Connect.
  6. If you're connecting Salesforce, select Production or Sandbox in the Integrate Your Account dialog.
  7. If you're connecting Salesforce, click Connect at the bottom of the dialog.
  8. Complete the sign-in steps for your CRM in the window or dialog that opens.

When the connection succeeds, a message confirms that the CRM is connected successfully, and the CRM's card shows a Connected label.

Some CRMs ask for extra details before you sign in (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics asks for your Organization Url).

If Your CRM Is Managed by Your Admin

If your CRM appears under Managed by your admin, your admin set it up for your team. Its card shows Locked instead of a Connect button, and pointing to it shows the note "Managed by your admin."

If the Integrations page shows "No integrations found," no integrations are set up for you yet.

In either case, contact your ZoomInfo admin to connect the CRM, change which CRM is connected, or repair the connection.

How to Connect a CRM from the Export Menu

If you try to export records and no CRM is connected, the export menu shows "Connect a CRM to export" instead of a list of destinations.

  1. In the export menu, click Connect CRM. The ZoomInfo integrations page opens in a new browser tab.
  2. Find your CRM on that page and follow the prompts to connect it.

If you can't connect the CRM from that page, ask your ZoomInfo admin to connect it for you.

When CRM Data Appears in GTM One

CRM data in GTM One isn't updated in real time. The CRM resyncs once a day, so a change you make in your CRM (e.g., a new target account or an updated field) appears in GTM One after the next daily resync. For how this fits with audience refreshes, sellers' copies and app data, see How often GTM One data updates.

If CRM data still hasn't appeared after a full day, see Troubleshooting CRM Connection Issues in GTM One.
