Learn how admins choose which integrations their team can use and approve them.

Overview

An admin controls which integrations appear on every user's Integrations page in GTM One. Two settings work together:

  • Allowed integrations: the apps your organization may use. A user sees an app only when it is on this list. Salesforce can be allowed as more than one connection (e.g., a production connection and a sandbox connection).
  • Approved integrations: the allowed apps that an admin has accepted for data sharing. Approving an app also updates the organization's data sharing preferences for that app.

Only admins can change the allowed list. A user who is not an admin sees the result on the Integrations page in Settings: allowed apps appear under Your integrations or Managed by your admin, and "No integrations found" appears when nothing is allowed.

Before you start

How to allow an integration

  1. Sign in to the Admin Portal.
  2. Open the Integrations area.
  3. Find the app you want your team to use.
  4. Turn the app on. Turn it off to remove it.
  5. Ask your users to refresh the Integrations page in GTM One. The app appears on their page.

Turning an app off removes it from the allowed list, so users no longer see it on their page.

How to approve an integration

  1. In the Admin Portal, open the settings page for the integration.
  2. Approve the integration.
  3. Review the data sharing choices the approval applies. See How to Manage Data Sharing Settings as an Admin.

Approving an integration does three things at once. It adds the app to your approved list, it turns on the data sharing use cases that match the app, and it fills in the default field mapping for the app's main record types (account, lead, contact, company, prospect and person, where the app has them) unless you already mapped them. For the field mapping, see How to Map ZoomInfo Fields to Your CRM Fields as an Admin.

Withdrawing the approval removes the app from the approved list and turns off the data sharing use cases it matched.

What users see

When a user connects an integration that an admin has not approved yet, a Data Sharing Validation window opens first and explains that data sent through the application is collected to improve ZoomInfo products. The user clicks Confirm or Cancel, and the connection window for the app opens next.

If you see an error

  • "No integrations found" appears on a user's Integrations page when no app is on the allowed list. Allow at least one integration as described above, then ask the user to refresh the page.
