Learn how to find, filter, and export scoops in Advanced Search.

Overview

Scoops are available in Advanced Search in GTM One. In the filter panel, scoops are described as intelligence compiled by ZoomInfo researchers. Each scoop is tied to a company, and you can search scoops on their own tab, narrow them with a dedicated set of filters, and export them as a list.

Use the Scoops tab when you want to review recent research items about companies rather than a list of companies or contacts. For questions about which scoop types and topics are available to your organization, or what a specific scoop type means, contact your ZoomInfo account team.

Open the Scoops Tab

  1. In the left navigation panel, click Advanced Search.
  2. Above the results area, click the Scoops tab.

Until you set at least one filter, Advanced Search shows its starting view (e.g., recent searches and saved searches) instead of results.

Filter Scoops

Scoop filters are grouped under Scoops in the Sales Signals category of the Filters panel on the left. The available scoop filters are:

  • Scoops Types
  • Scoops Topics
  • Scoops Departments
  • Scoops Description Keywords, which searches the text of scoop descriptions
  • Scoops Date Range, which filters by the date a scoop was published
  • Updated Scoops

To apply a scoop filter:

  1. In the Filters panel, click Show All Filters.
  2. In the category list, click Sales Signals.
  3. Under Scoops, open the filter you want and set its values.
  4. Click Close to return to the results.

You can also type a filter name or value into the Search filters or values box at the top of the Filters panel and select a suggestion.

Use Quick Filters on the Scoops Tab

The Quick Filters chips at the top of the Filters panel change wording on the Scoops tab. Depending on your setup, they can include:

  • From my Followed Companies, which shows scoops on companies you follow
  • With Buying Group, which shows scoops on companies with key decision makers you can engage with
  • With Likely to Engage Contacts, which shows scoops on companies with contacts likely to answer calls or reply to emails
  • With Contacts Not in my CRM, which shows scoops on companies whose contacts don't exist in Salesforce
  • High Intent, which switches you to the Companies tab and shows companies actively researching your default topic cluster

Read Scoop Results

Each row in the results is one scoop. The results table shows five columns:

  • Date Published
  • Company Name
  • Description
  • Topics
  • Types

Click a company name to open that company's profile. A scoop row itself does not open a profile, because a scoop can mention one company and several people.

The bar below the results says how many scoops are loaded out of the total. To load more, click Show More. Beside it, Results per load sets how many scoops each load adds: 25, 50, or 100.

Select Scoops

Use the checkbox beside a row to select that scoop. To select many at once, open the selection menu at the top of the results and choose one of these:

  • Select Page, which selects the scoops on the page.
  • Select First, which selects the number of scoops you enter.
  • Select All, which selects every scoop in the search, including ones not yet loaded.
  • Clear All, which clears the selection.

If you clear the checkbox on a single row after using Select First or Select All, only the loaded rows that are still ticked stay selected. A message tells you how many, and to use Select All or Select First again to select across the whole search.

Export Scoops

Scoops are exported by saving them as a list, which you can then export as a CSV from the Lists page.

  1. In the results, select the checkbox next to each scoop you want to export, or use the selection menu at the top of the results to select all results.
  2. Click Export in the bar above the results.
  3. In the Export to Excel dialog, enter a name in the Name Your List field.
  4. Click Export.
  5. Click Finish.

You receive an email when your list is ready.

What Is Not Available on the Scoops Tab

You can save a search from the Scoops tab in the same way as other Advanced Search results. When you save from the Scoops tab, the Scoops alert option is selected for you. For the full steps, see Save and Subscribe Function Explained in GTM One.

If you see an error

  • "Only N of the loaded rows are selected now. Use Select All or Select First again to select across the whole search." (N is the number of rows still ticked; the message reads "is" when only one row is left.) You cleared a row after a bulk selection, so the selection shrank to the loaded rows that are still ticked. Click Select All or Select First again before you export.
