Learn how GTM One uses ZoomInfo and connected data to power AI answers.
Overview
Every AI feature in GTM One draws on the same shared data layer, called the context graph. The context graph combines ZoomInfo data with the first-party data your organization connects, so the AI can answer questions using both what ZoomInfo knows about a company and what your team knows from its own systems.
Because chat, audiences, and profiles all read from this one data layer, you get consistent answers no matter where you ask a question. You also don't need to import ZoomInfo data before you use it. It is already available, so you can start a chat, ask for companies that match your criteria, and move straight into building an audience.
What the Context Graph Includes
The context graph brings these types of data together:
- ZoomInfo data: Company and contact profiles, job postings, news and scoops, web visits, and product reviews.
- Your CRM: Accounts, contacts, opportunities, and users from your connected CRM.
- Engagement data: Meetings and emails.
- Conversational intelligence: Deal and account facts drawn from recorded conversations.
CRM data is only available when your organization has a CRM connected. Conversational intelligence data is only available when your account includes conversational intelligence.
Where AI Context Is Used
The same context powers several parts of GTM One:
- Chat: Ask questions that span many accounts (e.g., which accounts recently mentioned a named competitor), find contacts at a company, or generate documents such as an account plan. Chat decides which data to use for each question.
- Audiences: AI columns in an audience answer questions about each record using the same data.
- Profiles: Company, contact, and opportunity profiles combine ZoomInfo data, CRM data, and AI summaries in one view.
- The ZoomInfo MCP server: The MCP server gives external AI assistants, such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Codex, access to the same context graph and the same audiences. An audience you create in GTM One returns the same underlying data when you query it from one of these assistants. Sharing the same data does not mean every assistant can do everything GTM One can: the MCP server can only take the actions its tools offer. See Overview of what you can do from each ZoomInfo surface. To set up the MCP server for your organization, contact your ZoomInfo admin or account team.
Ask a Question Using AI Context
The quickest way to put AI context to work is to ask a question in chat on the Home page.
- In the left navigation panel, click Home.
- Click in the chat box that reads "Ask me anything... use @ to mention a company or contact."
- Type your question (e.g., "Which of my accounts have gone quiet?").
- Click Send message, or press Enter.
Chat opens and answers your question using the context graph. To focus the answer on a specific company or contact, type @ followed by its name and select it from the list before you send.
See Which Data Sources Power Chat
You can check which data sources chat can draw on for your organization.
- In the left navigation panel, click Home.
- In the chat box, click Data sources.
- Review the list under "Data sources powering chat."
- Click anywhere outside the list to close it.
