Overview
G2 data in GTM One shows research activity on G2, such as which companies viewed G2 pages, which products they researched, and which competitors they compared. You can use it to spot accounts that are actively evaluating solutions and prioritize your outreach.
G2 data appears in three places:
- Feed: G2 activity appears as G2 Page Views signals for the companies you follow.
- Advanced Search: The G2 Buyer Intent filters let you find companies based on their G2 research.
- Company profiles: The G2 section shows a company's G2 research activity in detail.
G2 data is available only when your organization has access to it. If you don't see the G2 options described below, contact your ZoomInfo admin or account team about G2 data availability.
Find G2 Signals in the Feed
- In the left navigation panel, click Feed.
- In the tabs at the top of the left rail, click Following.
- Next to Group by, click Signal to see updates grouped by signal type, or click Company to see updates by account.
- In the Filters section of the left rail, click Signal filters.
- Under Competitive, select the G2 + Trust Radius checkbox to show only review site activity.
On company cards, G2 activity is labeled G2 Page Views in the signal sections. The signal types in Signal filters depend on the signals your organization receives. If G2 + Trust Radius is not listed, your organization may not receive G2 signals. This filter also includes TrustRadius page activity.
Filter Advanced Search by G2 Buyer Intent
- In the left navigation panel, click Advanced Search.
- Above the results, click the Companies tab.
- At the bottom of the Filters panel, click Show All Filters.
- In the list of categories, click Sales Signals.
- Click G2 Buyer Intent to expand it.
- Set one or more of the G2 filters described below.
- Click Close to return to your results.
The G2 Buyer Intent group includes these filters:
- Visit Date Range: The date range to apply to the G2 filter results. Choose Past 7 days, Past 30 days, Past 3 months, Past 6 months, or Custom range.
- G2 Products: Which of your products were researched on G2. You can include or exclude products, up to 10 in total.
- Visit Type: The type of pages visited on G2. You can include or exclude visit types, up to 10 in total.
- Visitor Location: The visitor location logged by G2.
Removing the Visit Date Range filter also removes the other G2 Buyer Intent filters.
Add the G2 Section to a Company Profile
The G2 section shows a company's G2 research activity, including G2 visits in the last 30 days, ZoomInfo products researched, competitors compared, and comparison visits. It also lists research threads by product and a table of all visits with the date, related G2 product, visit type, visit title, and visitor location.
- Open a company profile.
- Click Personalize at the right of the tab bar.
- Click Open layout editor.
- If the editor shows the Read-only layout banner, you are on the ZoomInfo default layout. Click Duplicate to customize to make a copy you can change.
- In the Widget library, find G2 (G2 buyer-intent research activity) and drag it onto the active tab, or click it to add it.
- Click Save layout.
Changes you make to a layout affect only your own view of profiles. In the G2 section, click Card view to see Research threads by product, or Table view to see All visits in a table. In the table, click a column header such as Date, Related G2 product, Visit Type, or Visit Title to sort by it. Visitor Location cannot be sorted. A dash means the date or location was not recorded.
If you see an error
- "No visits". "It looks like you don't have any visits yet". The company has no G2 activity on record, so there is nothing to show. Check again later, or try another company.
- "Failed to load G2 data". "You can reload the page or try again later". The G2 section could not load. Reload the page, or open the profile again in a few minutes. If it keeps happening, contact your ZoomInfo admin.
