How to share a signal or agent result from the feed

Learn how to send a feed card to colleagues so it appears at the top of their feed.

Overview

Sharing lets you pass a signal or an agent result from your feed to colleagues in your organization. Each person you share with gets a copy at the top of their feed, marked as high priority. This is available when your organization has it turned on. If you do not see Share on a feed card, sharing is not on for your organization yet.

Share a card

1. In the left navigation panel, click Feed.
2. Find the signal or agent result you want to share, then click Share in the card's footer. On a card that lists several companies, click the three dots menu on a company's row, then click Share signal.
3. In the Share dialog, type a name or email address in the search box, then click a person to add them. Before you type, the list suggests the company's account team, when GTM One knows who is on it. You can add more than one person, and click a name's × to remove it.
4. Click Share. When you added more than one person, the button reads Share with and the number of people.

A message confirms who the card was shared with and that it is pinned to the top of their feed as high priority. If everyone you picked already had the card, the message says so and nothing new is sent.

If someone's earlier copy of the card is still being delivered, the message names them and offers Try again. Click it after a moment to reopen the dialog with just those people selected.

Some cards cannot be shared. In that case the Share button is not shown.

What your colleague sees

Your colleague sees the card at the top of their feed with a line that reads "shared this with you" and your name. If they do not follow the company the card is about, the card also shows a prompt to follow it:

1. On the card, click Follow company. If the card is about several companies, click Follow companies and pick which to follow.

Following a company sends that company's future signals to their feed.

If you see an error

• "This pulse cannot be shared" This card is not allowed to be shared. The Share button is removed from the card. Share a different card.
• "Couldn't share" followed by the card's title. The share did not go through. Click Try again in the message to reopen the dialog with your people already selected. The message may give a more specific reason; follow it.
• "Couldn't add" followed by names and "yet". Those people already have an earlier copy on its way, so the new one could not be added to it. Wait a moment, then click Try again in the message.
• "Nothing was sent to" followed by the names, then "Check your connection and try again." Nothing was shared. Check your connection and try again.
• "Couldn't follow the company. Try again." Your colleague's follow did not go through. Click Follow company again.
