Overview

A signature is a block of formatted text at the end of an email, such as your name, title and phone number. You can save up to two signatures and choose one as your default. The default is applied to new emails.

Create a signature and add it to an email

  1. In the AI Emailer, click the signature button in the body's formatting toolbar. A list of your signatures opens.
  2. Click Create New.
  3. In the Insert Signature panel, the name box at the top is filled in with "'s Signature". Change the name if you like. A name can be up to 50 characters.
  4. Write your signature in the editor.
  5. Click Apply Signature. When the emailer holds several recipients, click the arrow beside it and choose Apply for All to add the signature to every draft.

Use a saved signature

  1. In the AI Emailer, click the signature button in the toolbar.
  2. Click the signature you want. The default is marked "(default)", and a check mark shows the one now in use.
  3. Edit it if you like and click Apply Signature.
  4. Click No Signature in the list to send without one.

Delete a signature

  1. In the AI Emailer, click the signature button and click the signature.
  2. Click Delete Signature.
  3. Click Delete when asked "Are you sure you want to delete this signature?"

If you see an error

  • Create New is unavailable and its tooltip says "You have reached the maximum number of signatures". You already have two. Delete one first.
  • "Failed to save signature" The signature was not saved. Click Apply Signature again.
  • "Failed to delete signature" The signature was not deleted. Try again.
