# Add Human Approval Checkpoints to Agent Teams

> Agent Teams can now pause at a defined step and wait for a person to sign off before continuing. Add an Approval step between any two steps, choose the approver, and when a run reaches that point it stops and notifies them in the app. The approver sees a plain-language summary of what happened and what's next, then approves, edits the content being handed off, or rejects with a comment saved to run history. A run auto-rejects if no one responds within 12 hours.
