## Overview

Renewal Prep builds the case and the risk map for a renewal: where value has landed, what could derail it, and who decides. It runs conversation_intelligence over the recent engagements for value moments, risks, and stakeholder engagement, and pulls account_research for deal history and relationship context. The case rests on what the customer actually said, not on generic value claims.

The skill is deliberate about what it will not assume. Renewal date, term, and ARR are often absent from ZoomInfo data, so it does not invent them. When those details matter to the brief and were not provided, it asks you once before drafting, because an unprompted wrong date is worse than an acknowledged unknown. Every assumption it does make is marked clearly.

Give it the account by ZoomInfo company ID or a name to resolve, plus any renewal specifics you have. The brief returns the renewal basics, the case for renewal built from acknowledged value, the risks each paired with a handle, the stakeholder picture, and one to three recommended moves. When conversation data is unavailable, it delivers the account view and asks you for the renewal specifics.

## What It Does

- **Value case**: Builds the argument for renewal from outcomes the customer acknowledged, each anchored to the moment it was voiced.
- **Risk handles**: Pairs every risk with evidence and a concrete way to address it before the renewal conversation.
- **Stakeholder map**: Tracks who holds the renewal, champion status, and anyone who has gone quiet.
- **Assumption discipline**: Refuses to guess the renewal date or terms and asks you once when the brief depends on them.
- **Recommended plan**: Proposes one to three evidence-based moves leading into the renewal, drawn from the case and the risks.

## Use Cases

### Build the Case for an Upcoming Renewal

A renewal is on the calendar and you need a defensible case for it. The skill pulls the outcomes the customer acknowledged across recent calls, ties each to its source, and assembles them into a value argument you can bring to the conversation, alongside the account history from account_research.

### Map the Risks Going In

You want to know what could derail the renewal before you are in the room. The skill lists each evidence-backed risk, from a stalled rollout to a quiet stakeholder, and pairs it with a concrete handle to work before the renewal conversation. You address problems early rather than react to them.

### Know Who Decides and Where the Champion Stands

Renewals turn on people. The skill maps who holds the decision, whether your champion is still engaged, and who has gone quiet. That lets you shore up the relationship in advance instead of discovering a gap when the renewal is already at stake.
